We had a sucessful Shred Day in Greenwood on October 13th at  the Greenwood Mall  and at
our Shred Day for  Anderson and Greenville on Saturday, October 20th at the BBB office and Anderson Mall.  We had a combined total of 350 cars and shredded 24,000 lbs. Goodwill collected 6 bins of computer hardware and we collected two boxes of old cell phones for the Verizon HopeLine.
  
 
Our next Shred Day will be held:

April 6th from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. 
Greenwood Mall - 420 Bypass 72 NW, Greenwood
Consumers and Businesses may bring up to 5 small banker boxes.

April 20th from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at:
    Better Business Bureau office - 408 N Church Street, Greenville
    Anderson Mall - 3131 N Main Street, Anderson
 
Consumers and Businesses may bring up to 10 small banker boxes.

At the Greenwood and Greenville locations, Goodwill Industries will be collecting old computer equipment to be recycled.  Hard drives are wiped according to Department of Defense standards.  At all three locations we will be collecting no longer used wireless phones for Verizon Wireless Hopeline program.  Refurbished phones and cash grants are provided to local shelters focusing on the awareness and prevention of domestic violence.
